am 4 Awareness is a music and education initiative that raises social awareness issues to children and young people in schools.
We have performed in over 280 Primary and High Schools and large-scale community events including events overseas.
The program is supported by some of Australia’s highest profile bands and artists including Delta Goodrem, Diesel, Missy Higgins, Vanessa Amorosi, Guy Sebastian Gurrumul Yunupingu, USA export Sick Puppies and Joshua Barker (Longreef) along with many major and independent record companies, government and non-government organisations and has raised much-needed funds for cancer research through its support of the Delta Goodrem Leukaemia & Lymphoma Charity Trust Fund and has raised money for Ronald McDonald House, The Starlight Foundation and Chronic Pain Australia.

“Combining drug and alcohol awareness with the music industry and young performers are a recipe for success”- Shane Brown, DIRECTOR, South Sydney Youth Services.
“I have been very impressed with the concept of Jam 4 Awareness project led by Colin Foster who also works for UnitingCare Burnside Reconnect Program. ‘Jam 4 Awareness’ provides an excellent opportunity for young people to participate in a music event that communicates important information about youth issues, promotes self-confidence and positive social interactions. I highly recommend the ‘Jam 4 Awareness’ project to be considered by every school and would be more than happy to initiate it as a project to complement the work of the Education Support Program in Macarthur.” – Michelle MacMillan, Coordinator Education Support, Burnside.
NSW Police Force School Liaison Police unit –
“This fun and safe environment that ‘Jam 4 Awareness’ is able to bring to a school is seen by the NSW Police Force as a very effective way of engaging young people in schools. I look forward to continuing work with Colin and the ‘Jam 4 Awareness’ team in the future. – Michael Whyte, SERGEANT, NSW SCHOOL LIAISON POLICE.
